A studio for Nestology
THE CUSTOMER
Samantha, owner of Nestology Studio and a self-professed "mompreneur and photographer", runs her own photography practice focusing on family, couples, maternity, and new-born shoots.
​
We really enjoyed connecting with Samantha over our shared vision of supporting authentic moments for our customers. So collaborating with her was a no-brainer!
Place: A 600 sq ft studio space in Wong Chuk Hang
Style: Easy, industrial chic, comfortable, Scandi, with pops of colour.
In this project, we helped Samantha create a photography studio that reflected the kind of moments that she wanted to capture for her clients. One of the values of her photography services was to "visually represent [the client's] truth and their relationships" and for her clients to "come away feeling that your special and everyday moments are valued and captured authentically".

Therefore, it was imperative that we help Samantha create a studio where her clients would feel easy and comfortable so that they will have those authentic interactions for Samantha to capture.

creating happy, cozy interactions
For the main "living room" area, we used a lot of neutral tone throughout the furniture, adding wood and rattan textures in to the space to create a natural and earthy look. This provided a calm, cozy, and dreamy vignette for families to feel happy and relaxed.
