PROJECT INTRO

Kristi & Edwin wanted their Taikoo Shing home to better reflect how they were living, spending more time at home, craving comfort, and wanting a style that felt uniquely theirs. Eclectic, modern, and warm, but still neat and organised. We focused on threading their personality into the open-plan living and dining room, balancing bold colour and cosy textures with clean lines and functional layouts. The result is a cohesive space that feels both inviting and clearly defined, giving each area its own character while working seamlessly together.

LIVING ROOM
Colour meets comfort

The living room takes on a bold new personality with a deep blue sofa and a rust-toned armchair that grounds the space in colour and comfort. Mid-century modern touches—like the wooden shelving with hidden storage and streamlined TV console—keep the look practical yet stylish. Accent lighting and a set of marble-topped nesting coffee tables add layers of warmth and function, transforming what was once a plain white room into a space full of character and everyday ease.

DINING ROOM
For memories old and new

The dining area was designed to feel intimate and personal, anchored by a gallery wall filled with Kristi & Edwin’s travel memories. A round table was chosen over a square one to create a smoother flow around the space, encouraging movement and connection. A sleek sideboard keeps dining essentials neatly stored, while a dimmable pendant lamp overhead sets the mood. The result is a space primed for cosy dinners for two or lively evenings spent hosting loved ones.
