PROJECT INTRO

Welcome to this stunning duplex in the heart of Central, Hong Kong – a space designed to bring the best of the city indoors while creating a peaceful getaway for the couple who calls it home. With floor-to-ceiling windows framing those sweeping Hong Kong views, this apartment is all about balance. We wanted to hone their newly acquired space, so that it would capture the city’s energy but still feel like a retreat – a place they could kick back and get comfortable.

The style leans towards Nordic and Spanish, as they hail from Madrid, with art to bring a creative touch and an emphasis on a space that feels serene. It’s light, cosy, and has pockets of personality without losing that clean, modern vibe. From natural textures to a soft, neutral palette, every detail is about creating a space that’s as much a reflection of the city as it is a retreat from it.

LIVING & DINING ROOM

The living and dining rooms flow together with an effortless, understated style that feels laid-back yet refined. In the living room, a roomy L-shaped sofa is set up perfectly for cosy movie nights with a projector. Armchairs are placed to make the most of the sweeping views, while a classic leather chair and floor lamp create a comfy little reading corner.

Floor-to-ceiling curtains were added, with a remote-controlled system for convenience. This adds a touch of grandeur to the already towering ceilings, plus it helps the home transition from day to night. Warm wood and stark black tones create some as you enter the dining room, with the chairs echoing the lines of the windows and tying the look together. With seating for eight, it’s ideal for gatherings but keeps the vibe relaxed and uncluttered.

GUEST ROOM

The guest bedroom keeps things simple with a hint of luxury. A plush headboard adds a cosy touch, while warm wood details give the room a welcoming feel. There’s even a desk for those who might need to catch up on work, blending practicality with comfort. It’s understated but has everything guests need to feel right at home.

When it comes to curating a home, its all the little details that make it feel true to those who dwell there. Memories collected over time can make a home feel lived-in and welcoming. At this apartment in Queen’s Garden, Central, we made sure the art pieces added just the right amount of personality without overpowering the minimalist identity of the space.

The coffee table is styled with a mix of favourite books, a few objets d’art and some greenery for a relaxed feel. These small touches—like a well-placed vase or a stack of magazines—make the space feel effortlessly inviting.
