#206 Project
Linda's home
ABOUT THE CUSTOMER
Linda and her young family definitely carried with them the laid-back NorCal vibe. It was really fun collaborating with Linda, as she had good taste but also was very open to our new ideas.
Place: Three-bedroom apartment
Style: Calm, natural, and neutral
Location: Tavistock, Midlevels, Hong Kong
Linda's husband moved to Hong Kong ahead of Linda and their newborn for a few months. And during that time, they engaged us to get the apartment fully ready by the time that they arrived in Hong Kong. We worked directly with Linda while she was still in San Francisco, so that she could style her home with zero-hassle.
the living space
Scandi-inspired, and teeming with life
Linda really enjoyed a calm vibe for the home, so we used a lot of earth tones as a color scheme. We also incorporated a lot of softer grey and brown colors. For the entrance, we added a book case that is open on both sides as a partition between the different areas of the space. It also provided an arriving space for Linda and her family to sit down and take off their shoes and feel they've arrived home.
We are glad to have selected this rug, which with its ribs added great visual interest and slight contrast to the rest of the furniture. It also helped to section the room apart from the dining space, while making the space feel warmer especially on the cold marble floor.
DINING Space
food, family, and friends
With a rounded dining table and bar shelf, this room was set up to be a very natural and comfortable place to host small intimate dinners, or just have nice family meals everyday.
We worked in subtle brass and metal finishes in this room (as well as rest of the apartment) to elevate the space and make it feel classy in an understated way.
MASTER BEDroom
a little girl's first room
Linda's bedroom was a sizable one, but we wanted to keep it very simple so as to make Linda nad her husband feel like this room is made exclusively for a good night's sleep.
