DINING ROOM

FOR HOSTING FRIENDS

As you enter the apartment, we wanted to create a welcoming entrance and picked a green shoe cabinet and decorated it with a green vase and tray. We also picked a grey plush stool with storage so the kids can put their shoes on and store their toys away.

You are then welcomed to a gorgeous large light wood dining table which we paired with cream dining chairs all around, followed by a beautiful deep brown sideboard to display modern artwork and flowers. On the wall we chose an interesting irregular shaped mirror to add an artsy look to the room. Above the dining room we chose these 2 elegant hanging lights that created a sense of calm and cozyness to the area.

It was fun working with Jessy since she was open to interesting styles and layouts. Her home was also amazing to work with as it boasted high ceilings and lots of airy space.

When we asked her what kind of style she was going for, she wanted earth tone accents, with a touch of black and brass details. Modern meets elegance. So we got right to it!

LIVING ROOM

FOR QUALITY FAMILY TIME

Stylist's Note

Jessy was open to our suggestion of a customized curved sofa which worked very well in the layout of her home. The light grey sofa with a brass base added a touch of contemporary modern and we chose a combination of earthy beige and green cushions and a statement rug with a tint of orange, blue, and cream to spice up the space. We placed lots of leafy, green small and large plants around the room for added earthiness.

We went for a simple silver floor lamp and then an elegant modern pendant light with brass details hung above the ceiling that gives a very nice glow as a centre piece in the room. It was important to Jessy to have a lounge chair for book reading so we picked one that also had a foot stool so you can really sit back, relax and get lost in a good book. Near the sofa area, we decided to install a sleek black wall unit to balance between display books, small plants, ornaments and photos.

Kids Bedroom
For Playtime and learning

With the kids growing up, Jessy wanted their bedroom transformed to an area for play time and also learning time too. Storage and easy organisation was key to designing the girls room.

We picked 2 desks and 2 desk chairs to place along the side of the wall, a grey bookshelf for the other side of the wall, a transformational table that was perfect for storage and a cute round rug to add a splash of sunshine to the room.
